Information
Nationals from a few countries may need visas to enter Poland for the purpose of attending the meeting. Requirements may be checked at Entering Poland website.
This is the most convenient airport and we recommend it to our participants. There is a handful of ground transportation options to reach hotels.
Taxi transport
Taxi is the easiest, though the most expensive option. Typical ride from the airport to the city center is approximately 50 PLN. It may be more expensive on weekends or during night time (10pm-6am). If you prefer this option, we recommend iCar, since they are relatively cheap and do not charge extra for weekends or nights (please check them at ICAR website since their policy may change at any time).
Lines 208, 252 and 902 (night line) run frequently, but not necessarily to your hotels so you may be in need to catch a connecting bus or tram.
Ticket pricing can be found here.
For rides from/to the airport, please use the green panel in the table.
All necessary information can be found at the airport's website.
There is also Warszawa-Okecie airport which is the biggest in Poland and air carriers may offer the cheapest airfares to this location. The ground transportation includes a train or bus transport to/from Krakow.
Train service requires a local train to the Central Railway Station (SKM S3) followed by an intercity connection to Krakow.
Bus tickets can be booked on the following websites. Get Trans LUX EXPRESS
Another option would be to arrive at Katowice-Pyrzowice airport. For this airport, there is a dedicated shuttle to/from Krakow.
The shuttle can be booked on the following websites: Matuszek Pyrzowice Ekspres
Efekt Express Krakow Hotel
